The Mysterious Cities of Gold

I did a few illustrations for the next number of Cereal:Geek and this is one of them.


I wanted to make my own interpretation of the characters as well staying true to the original style the best I could, so in the end it became an hybrid of both styles. I'm pretty happy with the end result, I also wanted to give it the old animation look with the hand-painted background in contrast with the inked characters. Hope you like it as well
